On the JV side, Martell Johnson Jr. has already rushed for an incredible 10 touchdowns through three league games!
A SPECIAL KNIGHTS MOMENT
Connor Zaruta’s touchdown was the FIRST touchdown of his career!
Connor has been a Knight since second grade and is now in fourth. He earned opportunities as a starting running back during his second- and third-grade seasons, and this year he earned the starting quarterback position.
Seeing him finally cross that goal line was an incredible moment. His coaches and teammates couldn’t have been happier for him! That’s what youth football is all about.
All three teams played great football and represented Erie Catholic, their individual schools, and the Knights program with pride!
Next up, all three teams head back to Pittsburgh on Saturday to take on the Brentwood Dukes.
THE MARCH CONTINUES.
THREE TEAMS. ONE KINGDOM.
